Dr Angela O’Hagan, SSMJ and WISE, will be giving evidence to the Scottish Parliament Finance and Constitution Committee on 20 September. As Scotland faces new opportunities with devolved taxation and social security powers, where are challenges for revenue raising and meeting the requirements of the Fiscal Framework. A member of the Review Group whose report recommending a series of changes to the Scottish Budget process was issued on 30 June, Dr O’Hagan will be addressing the significant recommendations on integrating equality analysis into the revised process, building on her work to date with the Scottish Government and internationally.
