Public Speaking and Communicating your Research for women in science with Dr. Maggie Aderin-Pocock MBE
A communication master class for women in STEMM and other expert fields with Dr. Maggie Aderin-Pocock will be held at the University of Strathclyde in June.
Together with Maggie, a master class has been created which aims to equip women with the skills they need to raise their profiles, gain recognition, seniority and thereby become role models to others. Maggie Aderub-Pocock is the new presenter of the BBC’s iconic astronomy series, The Sky at Night as well as being a space scientist, specialising in telescopes and satellites.
Fantastic feedback has been received from the 4 workshops already with many future bookings from universities and organisations seeking to raise their Athena SWAN status.
The master class will take place at Strathclyde on Thursday June 26th. We have 10 places remaining on the session – training a maximum of 21 women.
The next sold out workshop will be delivered for the Institute of Physics in London on June 4th. Hope some of you cab join us at Strathclyde next month for this unique opportunity.
