The Director of the Wise Centre for Economic Justice, Professor Sara Cantillon, has just been appointed to the Advisory Body of the European Institute for Gender Equality whose principle function is to provide expertise knowledge in the field of gender equality. As an Expert, nominated by the Irish Government, Professor Cantillon will serve a three year term December 2024 – November 2027. Professor Cantillon said she was delighted and honoured to be nominated and looks forward to participating in the discussion at the Gender Equality Forum in Brussels in December and to contributing to building the plan of action based on the outcomes of the Forum.
