Professor Umut Korkut has been re-elected to the executive committee of the International Political Science Association (IPSA).
Founded in 1949, the organisation supports the development of political science strives to build academic networks in all parts of the world.
Professor Korkut has been affirmed as a Vice-President. He will represent the PSA, the recognised national association for the UK, and will also lead the Gender and Diversity Monitoring Committee.
Roger Awan-Scully, chair of the PSA, said: “We wish Umut every success in this role and thank him for his continued commitment to both the PSA and IPSA.
“I am sure that through Umut’s efforts, we will see our partnership with IPSA strengthen in the years to come.”
