Professor Sara Cantillon, Director of Wise Centre for Economic Justice has been invited by the School of Law and Economics, Senshu University, Tokyo, to give a Public Lecture “Why Economic Inequality Matters” on Saturday 18th May 2019. In her lecture, Professor Cantillon examines how and why the distribution of income and wealth has become so unequal and explores the implications of post 1989 market triumphalism and the drift from “having a market economy to being a market society”.
