Dr. Caitlin McLean has been appointed as the Ailsa McKay Post Doctoral Research Fellow and will take up her post on 12 January 2015 based in the WiSE office W406. She will be undertaking research on how the adoption of a Citizens Basic Income (CBI) could contribute to greater gender equality.
Caitlin is originally from North Carolina in the USA but has spent the last five years at the University of Edinburgh completing an MSc in International and European Politics in 2010 and more recently successful defending her PhD thesis on Childcare. She also worked as a Research assistant for the Centre for Families & Relationship at the University of Edinburgh.
