2nd-year AI and Data Sciences student Rana M Temoor Imran discusses his time at the university so far, the opportunities offered to him and his future plans and goals.
Why you chose to study your course at GCU?
There can be multiple reasons but this is only university giving an opportunity to do Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences.
Favourite thing about studying your course at GCU?
It is a wide course and gives you opportunities to some extra side hustles with it and to apply for different jobs.
What opportunities have been offered to you through studying your course at GCU?
I am a student mentor, you can be a student ambassador, you can also get an exchange opportunity if you want.
Has studying your course at GCU prepared you for working life?
Yes, it has given me skills like time management, public speaking and enabled me to become a leader. I am a department rep as well which gives some extra responsibilities.
Favourite module studied and why?
Web Application Development because it is a module which gives you an idea of how big companies run their websites and what’s the background behind it.
What is your plan when you finish studying?
I am very optimistic to plan for my masters after my undergraduate in a related subject and domain.
What is your 5-year plan?
In the future after my undergraduate and masters I am going to apply to a job in my domain and possibly apply for a Phd to serve people and the community and be the best version of myself.
