4th-year BSc Construction Management student Edyta Moroz Gronek discusses her time at the university so far, the opportunities offered to her and her future plans and goals.
Why you chose to study your course at GCU?
It’s a great university with very helpful staff. I would definitely choose GCU if I was to study again.
Favourite thing about studying your course at GCU?
It’s work related, recommended by friend who already finished the same course as me, the suitable for me work/uni life balance.
What opportunities have been offered to you through studying your course at GCU?
There is lots of opportunities for students one of them was a trip to Oman, also each course offers lots of different types of guides and help for students to stay on track with revising, mental health and well-being. Unfortunately, due to work commitment same time I couldn’t use all of those offers provided by university.
Has studying your course at GCU prepared you for working life?
Definitely yes.
Favourite module studied and why?
Sustainability and Building Performance.
What is your plan when you finish studying?
I am already working but having my degree will definitely open up doors more widely for new possibilities in the future.
What is your 5-year plan?
First and foremost, complete my degree. After that making my way to Project Manager position.
