2022 International Fashion Business graduate Morgane McGregor shares her insight into life at GCU and life after graduating from university.
I chose to study at GCU because…
I chose to study at GCU because of the course curriculum. By offering students the opportunity to learn both fashion design and business skills, this ensures students are fully prepared for future endeavours and I believe this places the study program ahead of competing universities.
The most important aspect of my university experience has been…
The most important aspect of my university experience has been the friendships I have made. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend the past 4 years of uni without my little support system by my side.
My biggest lesson learned so far is…
My biggest lesson learned so far is that no dream is too big. One of the most endearing qualities of GCU is how supportive everybody is. Both my peers and staff have always encouraged me to believe in myself and to not be afraid to try any opportunities even if it may seem impossible at the time.
I’m proud to be part of the University for the Common Good because…
I’m proud to be part of an institution that prioritises the wellbeing of their students and strives to make a positive change to the world through the educational opportunities GCU offer.
I get my inspiration from…
I get my inspiration from my family as they have always been by my side through every challenge and achievement I have faced. I’m so thankful for the strength and love they have given me. I hope to always make them proud and to make myself proud.
My next steps look like…
My next steps will be to enjoy a much-needed break and let it sink in that I finally graduated! I think it’s so important that before you move on to the next thing, to pause and appreciate where you are in life. I am so proud of myself for graduating and I know younger me will be as well. And when I’m ready I will continue to follow my dreams and work hard towards the future I want.
You are most likely to bump into me…
Anywhere with food!
