Media and Communications student Georgia Brown’s TikTok video featuring her student card goes viral Georgia compared herself to her ID photograph and attracted over 5 million views in this lighthearted yet impactful clip
Our #StudentSpotlight this week Georgia spoke to GCU Student Life about the positives of this social platform:
“TikTok been my therapy during lockdown honestly, this time has been so difficult for everyone and on several occasions I found myself feeling so alone and helpless, and making wee videos just fills a small void
…Being vulnerable online has really helped to an extent…by showing my acne and talking about life in general, people react in a more genuine way.”
We love this story
