I chose to study at GCU due to the broad range of employment support offered and the course structure suited me well.

The most important aspect of my university experience has been…

It is impossible to whittle my experience down into one aspect. The social nature of Uni provided an excellent basis for making friends and building a further in Glasgow. However, the academic knowledge gained prepared me well for the working world.

My biggest lesson learned so far is…

The biggest lesson I learned is to be looking for opportunities at every turn. This is great for bolstering employability and driving direction.

I get my inspiration from all the lecturer who worked hard to broaden my horizons.

My next steps look like…

I’m currently working as part of the Welfare Rights Team in the council, the university prepared me well for this step and next I hope to progress into an Officer, creating meaningful change and representation.
