The Caledonian Academy in conjunction with the Moving Forward Project, recently played host to a visit by Professor Kerri-Lee Krause of Griffith University, Australia.  Kerri-Lee as part of the programme of institutional visits being organised by the First Year Experience Quality Enhancement Theme, provided a stimulating presentation relating to the issues surrounding progression and retention.  Kerri-Lee shared the outcomes of Research and Development work on the Student Experience in Australian Universities, with a specific focus on strategic implications for policy and practice. The seminar was well attended by various members of staff throughout the University and received very positive feedback.
