How not to use Twitter March 17, 2010

Not only did Rentokil find out that tweeters care who follows them, their actual response leaves a lot to be desired.
First of all remember that Twitter is for engaging in a conversation but also think about how you talk to your audience when they do engage with you – whether you’re in the right or wrong!
How the web has grown. March 9, 2010
Posted by stephenr in : Thinking ahead , add a commentThe BBC has a nice little interactive feature that shows just how internet penetration has grown in the 10 years from 1998 to 2008.
I personally have been working on or around the web since those very early years and have seen not only more and more countries come online, but also how we as a society have changed and embraced this new medium as a way to communicate, work and play. One of the sad things though that comes out of this graphic however is how so many countries across Africa and South America just don’t have any access at all – even after 10 years.
I wonder where the next 10 years will take us…
