Here’s a really fascinating summary of research about word of mouth and influencer marketing. It’s by Dave Roberts who, some of you will remember, did some consultancy for us a couple of years back. Lots of food for thought and I’d welcome views and ideas from all.
Moffat Centre website goes live February 15, 2010Posted by stephenr in : Website , 2 comments
The new Moffat Centre website has gone live today after a significant redesign.
The new site is one of the flagship websites that have moved into the new t4 driven templates and includes functionality such as rotating homepage marketing panel, news and events archiving functionality and an email sponsorship form.
This standalone website has lead the way in terms of functionality that has been made available to similar non www.gcal.ac.uk websites as well as major centres and projects such as The Caledonian Club and even the next evolution of the School websites.
Arc moves onto Facebook February 8, 2010Posted by stephenr in : social media, Website , 2 comments
We’ve recently set-up a facebook site for the Arc, with the primary aim of allowing staff to update everyone who’s become a fan with the latest information on what’s happening around the gym and with classes. This site actually sits quite nicely with the community that’s already established across the Arc and hopefully will be a useful tool in allowing staff, members and just occasional users to engage that bit more.
The site is still in its initial stages but there are big plans for it so make sure you become a fan today.
