Google hasĀ been personalising searches for a while for those with profiles and google accounts. This has been a bit of a pain for webmasters as this alters the ranking of sites in the normal search according to what you actually click on – not what the page contains.
This new tool is similar to the Facebook search but more powerful as it covers far more sites and lets you see just what is going on out there.
