October 2009 proclaimed as National Information Literacy Awareness Month in USA
Barack Obana, President of the United States of America, proclaims October 2009 as National Information Literacy Awareness Month and calls upon the people of the United States to recognize the important role information plays in our daily lives, and appreciate the need for a greater understanding of its impact.
A lot of work has gone on in the background to achieve this – so congratulations to everyone involved.
