Now that we have developed a theorectical underpinning to help us understand comparative management theories relating to the events industry we will look at some of the key contemporary issues which are currently impacting upon the industry.
The final four lectures for this module will take the form of interviews with industry practitioners. Our first interview is with Fiona Pelham, the Managing Director of Organise This. The purpose of this interview is to allow students to gain an understanding of sustainability in events and its management implications.
Once you have listened to the interview please read the following articles which may be of interest. There are also a number of websites listed below which may be useful.
